Came from kentucky for this and worth every fucking dollar and mile. Thank you Metallica for being who you are and allowing me to feel alive every time I see you. I had my tickets and was ready to rage that day. Left Cincy around 5pm thinking I would have plenty of time. Hit traffic on south I-71 47 miles from the highland festival grounds at 6pm and didn't fuckin move til around 11pm! I felt lucky to be traveling by myself though. Lot's of people had kids in their cars and the nearest exit was like 3 miles away. Check this out though. I emailed the promoter at 8:30pm just to vent and sent my best wishes for those who were able to see the show. They wrote me back immediately and offered me a ticket to see them Sunday night! I had to refuse since I had another commitment. 3 months later the promoter reached out and offered me a pass to the 2022 Louder Than Life festival! I was stunned by their support. Wish I could have been there with y'all!
